Climatronic Quick Off Button
It has been discovered that VW A5 platform cars have a slightly different centre button on the Climatronic Control Unit to that found on the Octavia II, which when pressed, stops both the fan and climate control.
This simple modification invloves removing a small tab from inside the button which isn't on the VW button. The VW button is also illuminated with the word off but unfortunately these buttons are not available seperately.
To remove the button simply lever out the centre with something suitably thin and that won't damage the plastic such as a credit card.
